Plant pegs and spray stakes

A plant peg delivers the irrigation water directly to the substrate next to the plant. The aim is to water the crop as accurately as possible – not too much, not too little, not everywhere, but well distributed over the substrate and the roots. Spray stakes do what they promise: spread the water over a larger substrate area. It is important that all the spray stakes deliver a uniform flow rate over the same surface area.

Wingpeg

The Wingpeg plant pegis available in various versions for both capillary and microtube use. The water flows downwards on two sides. This ensures an even spread over a larger area of the substrate. The benefit of the Wingpeg is that the 'wings' on the stakes ensure they are all inserted into the substrate to the same depth. Wingpeg plant pegs are available in black, red and blue. Suitable for manual and automatic assembly.

Advantages

  • A good spread of water over a larger substrate surface area.
  • Easy to ;INSERT INTO the substrate without damaging the substrate cover.
  • Square profile prevents the plant peg from working loose during crop growth.
  • Water does not flow away from the plant peg.
  • Pre-assembled as a complete drip irrigation system.
  • Can be stored on the roll for a long time.
  • Made from recyclable plastic.
  • Resistant to the chemicals and fertilisers commonly used in horticulture.

Ray jet

A Ray Jet spray stake is a robust, upright spray stake with a Vortex sprinkler that distributes the water evenly over a large substrate surface area. The spray stake is adjustable to any pot diameter and is made from recyclable plastic. Also available as a pre-assembled system.

 Advantages

  • Smooth spray pattern with water spread evenly over a larger substrate surface area.
  • Minimal risk of clogging due to the Vortex mechanism.
  • Adjustable to any size pot or container.
  • No mist formation during irrigation.
  • Can be stored on the roll for a long time.
  • Resistant to the chemicals and fertilisers commonly used in horticulture.
