DeGoede Farms
Ben and Benjamin deGoede were eager to innovate further and in 2021 they switched to Deep Flow Technique (DFT), growing leafy greens and herbs on a pond in a horticultural greenhouse on hydroponic floats from Meteor Systems.
Taiwan Joydon
The Taiwanese Joydon project involves a semi-closed greenhouse built by Oritech Beijing, a good customer of Meteor Systems, in 2013. It has a total surface area of 7,000 m2. The main crops grown in this greenhouse are tomatoes and cucumbers, providing a daily supply of fresh vegetables for the Taiwan region.
Beeren Brüder
In collaboration with the Thiedemann brothers at Beeren Brüder, Ridder Drive Systems and Van der Valk Horti Systems, Meteor Systems has recently completed a Mini-Air project that allows crops to be grown under plastic covers outdoors. Beeren Brüder is an organic nursery with generations of expertise in cultivating strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. The family business is run by Klaus and Frank Thiedemann and is located in the municipality Oesterwurth in the German district of Dithmarschen.
Het Broek Softfruit
More than 25 years ago, Arnoud van Asseldonk set up Het Broek Softfruit to grow strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. Het Broek Softfruit is located in Veghel in North Brabant. Besides growing fruit, the company also sells strawberry, raspberry and blackberry young plants.

Meteor Systems has a branch in China since 2019. Juny Xu, our local colleague, helps customers in China to develop and build their own cultivation companies. One example is the Baiyi Group. Part of their range of enterprise is managing large retail and horticultural businesses in Western China. The company was established in 1992 in Linxia and has opted for the innovative cultivation solutions from Meteor Systems.
John Vermeiren
John Vermeiren is a successful Belgian tomato grower for many years now and works together with Meteor Systems since the 90's. Meanwhile, his company has grown to such an extent that he owns, together with his partners, several tomato greenhouses, including VW Tuinderijen 8.3 ha, Hortipower 14.5 ha, VW Maxburg 10 ha, Meerfresh 13.6 ha and another 38 ha in America.
