In-line systems

The in-line systems from Meteor Systems are mainly suited for drip irrigation in outdoor vegetables, flowers, fruit and tree cultivation but are also excellent for use in greenhouse crops.

Inline systems

The tubes guarantee a very precise flow rate with minimal variability, as well as low incidence of clogging and a high degree of uniformity. The in-line systems are manufactured from premium quality plastics, making them stable, durable and UV resistant. They are also resistant to the chemicals and fertilisers used in horticulture.

Meteor Systems offers three types of in-line tubes with integrated drippers: the Hydrogol in-line tube with round labyrinth drippers, the Hydro PC in-line tube with round, pressure-compensated drippers and the Hydro PCND in-line tube with round, pressure-compensated and self-closing drippers.

Hydrogol in-line tube

The Hydrogol in-line tube is equipped with integrated round labyrinth drippers. The flow rate can be regulated by increasing or lowering the water pressure. A particularly good system for short and medium lengths of in-line piping.

Advantages

  • No suction of air and soil particles through the two outlets (which empty at the end of the dripping cycle).
  • Low risk of clogging due to large filter inlet and labyrinth drippers with large throughput

Hydro PC in-line tube

The Hydro PC in-line tube is equipped with integrated round, pressure-compensated drippers. Specially designed for irrigating over longer distances with a constant flow rate over different water pressures.

Advantages

  • Pressure-compensated, so also suitable for use on areas with large differences in elevation.
  • No suction of air and soil particles through the two outlets (which empty at the end of the dripping cycle).
  • Less clogging due to self-flushing mechanism.
  • Low risk of clogging due to large filter inlet and labyrinth drippers with large throughput.

Hydro PCND in-line tube

The Hydro PCND in-line tube is equipped with integrated round, pressure-compensated and self-closing drippers. For irrigating over long distances with a constant flow rate with fluctuating water pressures and for pulse irrigation.

The Hydro PCND in-line tube is also available in the Sunblock format (white/black) for an average lower water temperature for the plants and less moving of the tubes required in the cultivation bed.

 Advantages

  • Suitable for short bursts of irrigation as drippers can be opened and shut at the same time.
  • Pressure-compensated and self-closing, so suitable for irrigation over large differences in elevation.
  • No risk of the irrigation tube running empty or sucking up air and soil particles (due to the self-closing internal membrane).
  • Less clogging due to self-flushing mechanism.
  • Low risk of clogging due to large filter inlet and labyrinth drippers with large throughput.
